Supercomputing Asia

Just got back from a super trip to Supercomputing Asia. Altair were exhibiting alongside many of our customers and partners as well as a few newcomers since the conference was last held in person. Great to see high attendance and everyone engaging with the talks and trade show right up until the end. The video below covers just a small number of the technology on display and the discussions we had.

It was my first time at the conference and my first time in Singapore so it took the time to visit some of the world famous gardens as well as catching up with my colleagues. I like to include my own photos in my talks and so I threw in some snaps of the local flora at the end of my talk about the role that Altair is taking in sustainability when both using HPC and when designing HPC systems. More on that next week when I’ve had time for a nap, but in the meantime I will leave you with a picture of the leaf canopy in the rainforest that forms part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, an important haven of diversity and wildlife conservation.
